How to copy your WordPress Site Health info

WordPress has a built-in report that lists your WordPress and PHP versions and every plugin you have installed. Sending it to us lets us see what your site needs and quote without logging in. It takes about a minute.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin. This is usually your web address followed by /wp-admin, for example yourbusiness.com.au/wp-admin. You need an administrator login.
  2. In the menu on the left, hover over Tools and click Site Health.
  3. At the top of the Site Health page, click the Info tab.
  4. Click the Copy site info to clipboard button. A small “Copied!” message appears.
  5. Paste it into the box on our rescue request form, or into an email reply to us. On a computer, paste with Ctrl+V (Windows) or Command+V (Mac).

What the report shows us

  • Your WordPress version and the PHP version your site runs on
  • Every plugin, its version, whether it is switched on, and whether an update is available
  • Your theme, and server settings such as the memory limit and upload size

It holds no passwords. It does describe how your site is set up, so send it to us directly rather than posting it anywhere public.

If you can’t find Site Health

  • No Site Health under Tools: your WordPress is older than version 5.2, from 2019. That is useful to know in itself. Skip this step and send us your web address.
  • No Tools menu at all: your login is not an administrator. Ask whoever set up the site, or send us your web address and we will tell you what we need.
  • The site or admin won’t load: skip this step. Tell us what you see and we will take it from there.
