We upgrade the PHP and you keep your client.
Every agency has a list of older client sites that need moving to a supported version of PHP. The work is slow and fiddly, and your team has better things to build. We do the upgrade for you. You keep the client, the relationship and the margin.
Send us a client site → Melbourne based. Partner pricing. No contact with your clients. Our white label promise
- We never contact, quote or pitch your clients, during the job or after it.
- No PHP Rescue or Efront branding anywhere: not in the code, the site, the emails or the reports.
- You own the client relationship. Every question and decision goes through you.
- We invoice you, and you set your own price to your client.
- We sign an NDA on request, before you send us anything.
Based in Melbourne
We are a Melbourne team, not an overseas outsourcer. We work your hours, answer the phone in your time zone, and understand the Australian hosts your clients are on. When something needs sorting quickly, you are dealing with people down the road, under Australian law.
Partner pricing
Agencies get 20% to 30% off our standard pricing, depending on how many sites you send us. Dealing with one agency across several sites makes everyone’s job easier, so we pass the savings on to you.
Each site gets a fixed quote after we review it, so you know your cost before you quote your client, and no work starts until you approve it.
Quick turnaround
Once we have access to the site, we review it within one business day and send you a fixed quote. Once you approve it, most upgrades are done within a week. If a host has already switched PHP and the site is broken, it goes to the front of the queue.
What we take off your hands
- WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including ones with many plugins and old custom themes
- Joomla, Drupal and custom PHP applications, including ones your team didn’t build
- Replacing or patching plugins that were abandoned by their authors
- A full backup first, then all the work on a private copy of the site (a staging copy)
- The switch to the live site at a quiet time, then checks of forms, logins and checkout
- 30 days of aftercare: if anything the upgrade changed stops working in the 30 days after the switch, we fix it at no charge
- A short written summary of what changed, ready to send to your client as your own
How it works
- Send us the site. For WordPress, go to Tools, then Site Health, then Info, click “Copy site info to clipboard” and paste it into your email (step by step instructions). That gives us the WordPress and PHP versions and every plugin, so we can quote without logging in. For other sites, a web address or the warning email from the host is enough to start.
- We review it and send you a fixed quote at partner rates.
- You quote your client and approve the work with us.
- We upgrade and test on a private copy, then switch the live site when you say so.
Questions
Will you ever contact my client?
No. We talk to you, not to them. If we need something from your client, such as a hosting login or a decision, we ask you and you ask them. If your client ever finds us on their own, we send them back to you.
Will my client see your name anywhere?
No. There is no PHP Rescue branding in the code, the site, the emails or the reports. Anything we write for the client is written so you can send it as your own.
Who does my client pay?
You. We quote and invoice you at partner rates, and you set your own price to your client.
How quickly can you start?
Once we have access to the site, we review it within one business day and send you a fixed quote. Most upgrades are done within a week of you approving it. Sites that are already broken go to the front of the queue.
Can you work in our hosting, staging setup or code repository?
Yes. We work in whatever setup you use: your hosting, your client’s hosting, your staging copies and your Git repositories. We can also set up the staging copy for you.
What do you need from us to quote?
For a WordPress site, the Site Health report: in the WordPress admin go to Tools, then Site Health, then Info, and click “Copy site info to clipboard”. Paste it into an email to us. It lists the WordPress and PHP versions and every plugin with its version. It holds no passwords, but it does describe how the site is set up, so send it to us directly rather than posting it anywhere. For other sites, send the web address and we will tell you what access we need.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, on request, before you send us anything about your clients.
Can you check which of our client sites need upgrading?
Yes. Send us the list of web addresses and we will tell you which ones look to be on an old PHP version and which ones need a closer look. It is free and there is no obligation.
